CHIGWALK. Sunday 11th May 2008 1pm – 5pm.

This event gives all members the opportunity to take part in a fun event and raise funds for their own Unit and Chigwell Site at the same time. It is a chance to keep fit, enjoy the outdoors, take part in some activities and meet other members of all sections from Rainbows to Trefoil members in one afternoon. Each participant collects sponsors before the day and then walks as many laps of the Site as she wishes on the afternoon. After each lap she may choose to do an activity before completing another lap. There is a special shortened course for Rainbows and of course they can take part in most of the activities, size and Girlguiding rules permitting! This is of course a great chance for Guides and Senior Section members to raise funds for trips abroad and for all units to raise funds for their chosen cause.
